I actually doubled my recipe this past time, because everyone loves them so much.
Ingredients (single batch- makes 20-25 one inch balls):
1 Cup old-fashioned oats (dry)
1/2 Cup natural Peanut Butter
1/2 Cup Ground Flaxseed (you won't even taste this! Sneaky!)
1/2 Cup Chocolate chips
1/3 Cup Honey or Maple syrup (I've only tried Honey)
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
Put all of your ingredients in a Medium size mixing bowl. Mix well. Put in the refrigerator for half an hour (makes it more workable, less sticky). |
After "dough" is chilled roll them into 1 inch balls. DONE! So easy, right?! Store in an air-tight container and keep refrigerated for up to a week. |
